Why Wilmington
Sometimes God makes the next step clear.Over the past several months, we've spent time praying, visiting Wilmington, and building relationships with people who know and love the city. Through every conversation, we've become more convinced that this is where God is leading.Wilmington is growing quickly, but what excites us most isn't the growth. It's the people. Every family, student, neighbor, and coworker has a story. Every person matters to God.That's why we're going.We want to be part of a community that loves people well, points them to Jesus, and helps them discover the hope that only He can give.
Meet the Planter
I'm Aaron Warwick. For the past ten years, I've had the privilege of serving students and families throughout Eastern North Carolina. Along the way, God used those years to shape my heart for people, deepen my love for the local church, and slowly lead me toward church planting.Today, I'm serving with Church Planters of Eastern North Carolina as I prepare for this next step.I don't believe this is about one person or one church. I believe it's about saying yes when God calls and inviting others to join the journey.If there's one thing I hope people experience through The Wilmington Project, it's this: that they are seen, known, loved, and invited into the life changing hope of Jesus.We're just getting started, and we'd love for you to be part of the story.
